The ColdFAST M series from FASTER offers a state-of-the-art solution for the safe storage of sensitive samples and materials at extremely low temperatures. Developed for research laboratories, clinics, biobanks and industrial applications, it combines maximum sample protection, excellent energy efficiency, low-noise operation and the latest environmentally friendly cooling technology in a single appliance.

Refrigeration technology at the highest level - reliable down to -86 °C
With its advanced dual cooling system (dual cascade), the M series guarantees maximum operational reliability:
- Two independent compressors: If one compressor fails, the second one reliably maintains down to -70 °C - ideal for critical samples.
- Rapid cooling: From +25 °C to -80 °C in just approx. 3 hours.
- Temperature stability: Uniform cooling in the interior with max. ±5 °C deviation.
Energy-efficient and environmentally friendly - with modern HC refrigerant
- The ColdFAST M series stands for maximum sustainability:
- Refrigerant: Only environmentally friendly hydrocarbons (HC) with low GWP
- VIP+ hybrid insulation & vacuum panels (130 mm thick) for minimised cooling losses
- Energy savings of up to 40 % compared to conventional systems
- Whisper-quiet operation at just 50-54 dB(A) thanks to direct cooling with sound-insulating housing

- Volume options: 398 L, 528 L, 678 L, 778 L, 858 L and 1008 L
- Robust steel housing with powder coating, stainless steel interior with rounded corners for hygienic cleaning
- Sturdy heavy-duty castors with two height-adjustable locking feet for a secure stand

- 7-inch colour touchscreen with intuitive menu navigation
- USB port for easy temperature data transfer
- Password protection prevents unauthorised access to device settings
- 72-hour battery backup for display, alarm functions and data logging
- Storage of all operating, alarm and temperature data every 5 minutes, traceable for up to 10 years

- CO₂ backup system (optional): including controller, valve and alarm function
- Vacuum release port: Enables easy opening in the event of negative pressure
