The biological safety cabinet for small rooms and high demands
The SafeFAST Light is the most compact safety cabinet from FASTER - and yet a fully-fledged high-safety device. With a working width of just 0.7 metres, it offers maximum functionality in a minimum of space. Designed for smaller laboratories, doctors' surgeries and pharmacies, it impresses with its space-saving design, reliability and high standard of personal, product and environmental protection - certified to EN 12469:2000, of course.

Work safely - even when space is limited
Despite its compact design, the SafeFAST Light fulfils all the requirements of a class II biological safety cabinet. It is therefore ideally suited for all work processes involving work with hazardous biological substances, cell cultures or infectious material - even under GMP conditions.

Functionality & air flow
Like all FASTER safety cabinets, the SafeFAST Light is based on the classic Class II airflow principle:
- 70 % of the air is recirculated via an H14 HEPA main filter
- 30 % of the air is discharged into the environment in a controlled manner via a separate H14 HEPA exhaust filter
This air routing ensures a stable, laminar air flow that protects both the user and the product from cross-contamination.
