The CytoFAST Elite / Premium is a state-of-the-art Class II safety cabinet, specially designed for the safe handling of cytostatics and other highly active substances. It not only protects the material to be processed from contamination, but also ensures effective protection of the operating personnel and the environment from toxic or infectious particles.

    The CytoFAST Elite fulfils the requirements of EN 12469:2000 (microbiological safety cabinets) and DIN 12980:2017, which is specifically designed for handling cytostatics and CMR substances (carcinogenic, mutagenic, reprotoxic). These certifications guarantee a tested and documented level of safety in critical work areas such as oncology, pharmacy, research and pharmaceutical production.

  • Operating principle - Safe airflow for maximum shielding

    The safety cabinet works with a combined air routing system that is designed for optimum retention and safe air circulation:

    • 70 % of the air is recirculated in recirculation mode via an H14 HEPA main filter
    • 30 % of the air is discharged from the system in a controlled manner via a separate H14 HEPA exhaust air filter
    • Additionally protected by an H14 pre-filter with the Easy-Change system for quick and safe filter changes
