Air Shower
FASTER personnel air showers are indispensable airlock systems for the efficient removal of particles and dust deposits from the surface of cleanroom clothing. They are used in sensitive areas such as microelectronics, semiconductor production, airbrush painting, pharmaceutical production and the food industry.
These systems ensure that employees entering the controlled cleanroom area are freed from contaminating particles before they enter critical production zones - an important contribution to avoiding cross-contamination and complying with strict hygiene standards.

Functionality
The air shower generates an air flow with a speed of over 25 m/s using powerful centrifugal double suction fans. The filtered air is directed at the user from several directions - sideways and from above - via adjustable aluminium air nozzles. The particles loosened in the process are then extracted downwards and cleaned via a multi-stage filter system:
- Coarse dust pre-filter (G3 class)
- High-efficiency HEPA filter (H14) in accordance with CEN EN 1822
The result is ultra-pure air quality in accordance with ISO class 5 as per ISO 14644-1 - reliable, safe and easy to maintain.

Construction
- Housing made of high-quality stainless steel AISI 304L, Scotch-Brite (4B) surface, corrosion-resistant and easy to clean
- Doors made of 8 mm thick safety glass, integrated flush into the stainless steel structure - no visible aluminium frames
- Door opening via electromagnetic locking system, sequentially released after dust extraction cycle completed
- Ergonomic stainless steel handles
- Optionally also available in AISI 316L for aggressive environments

- 2x G3 pre-filters, easy access thanks to quick-change system without screws

Air nozzles
- Adjustable aluminium nozzles with internal throttle valve for regulation
- Air speed manually adjustable from 20 to 30 m/s
- Automatic speed reduction after each cycle
Pressure monitoring
- Analogue pressure gauges from Dwyer for precise monitoring of the filter differential pressure
Optional equipment and extensions

- Automatic access control via badge, chip card or PIN
