The SafeFAST Classic is a class II biological safety cabinet designed for laboratories, research facilities and GMP-compliant production environments where maximum safety and reliability are required in daily operation. It fulfils the requirements of the European standard EN 12469:2000 and offers triple protection thanks to its sophisticated airflow: for the operator, the product and the ambient air.
With the SafeFAST Classic, particular attention was paid to durability, ease of cleaning and an attractive price-performance ratio - ideal for long-term use with high efficiency.

Safe airflow concept - Class II protection principle
The SafeFAST Classic is based on the proven safety principle of class II biological workbenches:
- 70 % of the air is recirculated via an H14 HEPA main filter in accordance with EN 1822
- 30 % of the air is discharged from the appliance in a controlled manner via a separate H14 HEPA exhaust air filter
This guarantees a stable, laminar air flow in the work area and reliable protection against potentially infectious aerosols or particles - while minimising air turbulence for a high level of product protection.
