PCR FAST
The PCR FAST cabinet has been specially developed for molecular biology applications where a contamination-free work area is essential. It is ideal for the preparation of PCR reactions and other sensitive work with DNA or RNA samples, where even the slightest contamination can lead to erroneous results.
Designed as a compact benchtop unit, the PCR FAST provides a controlled, protected environment to prevent cross-contamination - ideal for molecular biology laboratories, clinical diagnostics and research institutes.
Decontamination through UV technology
The centrepiece of the PCR FAST is a highly effective UV decontamination system, which is installed on the upper inside of the workbench. The ozone-free UV-C radiation deactivates existing DNA and RNA fragments on surfaces and in the air of the work area - effectively, residue-free and without the use of chemicals.
- Decontamination time: 15-30 minutes, controllable via an integrated digital timer
- Safety function: Automatic UV switch-off mechanism as soon as the front screen is opened
- Daylight lamp: For optimum visibility and comfortable working during preparation
