The SafeFAST Top is a high-quality Class II biological safety cabinet, designed for laboratories with the highest demands on safety, ergonomics and hygiene. It fulfils the requirements of European standard EN 12469:2000 and is the first choice when a particularly robust, hygienic and contamination-free work area is required.

Thanks to its seamless finish made from a single piece of stainless steel with rounded corners, the SafeFAST Top offers an outstanding degree of ease of cleaning and durability - ideal for all microbiological work areas with increased hygiene requirements.

    The SafeFAST Top is suitable for all applications in which microbiological or cell-based materials are used. Typical areas of application are

  • Safety and functional principle

    The SafeFAST Top works according to the proven Class II air circulation principle:

    • 70 % of the air is recirculated via an H14 HEPA main filter in the recirculation process
    • 30 % of the air flows back into the room in a controlled manner via a separate H14 HEPA exhaust air filter
      This air routing ensures triple protection: for the product, user and environment.

    • UV radiation at 253.7 nm for effective decontamination
    • Mounted outside the line of sight for safe working

    ⚠ Note: UV lamps are not a substitute for manual cleaning.
    Replacement recommended every 12 months, depending on operating time.
