With the ChemFAST Premium, FASTER presents a new generation of fume cupboards with hybrid technology that combines maximum personal and environmental protection with outstanding energy efficiency. Compared to conventional chemical fume cupboards, energy consumption can be reduced by up to 80 % - without compromising on safety, performance or ease of use.

This innovative solution is ideal for all laboratory areas where harmful vapours, aerosols or hazardous substances need to be treated in a controlled manner and where resource-saving operation is required at the same time.

 

Hybrid principle with three-stage air flow - sustainable and safe

The ChemFAST Premium is based on a hybrid airflow system newly developed by FASTER. This combines the advantages of exhaust air and recirculated air technology in one appliance. The contaminated air is drawn in directly at the source below the work surface, cleaned via several filter stages and then split:

  • 75 % of the cleaned air is fed back into the work area (recirculating)
  • 25 % of the air is released into an exhaust air system in a controlled manner

This targeted air distribution not only ensures the removal of critical substances, but also counteracts the load on the central ventilation system - resulting in additional exhaust air capacity and lower operating costs.

 

Fully equipped safety system for maximum control

The ChemFAST Premium is equipped with an intelligent, microprocessor-based control system. A large touch display provides all relevant operating data in real time - including air flow, operating hours and filter status. A filter saturation indicator warns in good time when the filter needs to be changed and supports safe, standard-compliant use of the fume cupboard.
