The air is drawn in through an H14 HEPA/ULPA filter located at the top of the unit.

The pressurized air pushed into in the plenum and from here it is pushed in laminar flow conditions through the downflow H14 HEPA/ULPA filter above the work area.

The air then passes through the perforated work surface and drawn in the return channel behind the internal back wall where is partially recirculated and partially drawn in the lateral transfer hatches where it enters through a HEPA H14 (1 filter each hatch) prior being exhausted in the upper part of the transfer hatches where the last H14 HEPA filter is located.

IN/OUT transfer hatches: two separated transfer hatches for loading and unloading provided with 1 H14 HEPA/ULPA filter for inlet and a second H14 HEPA / ULPA filter for recirculation. Electromagnetic interlocked doors system.

Low power consumption and Low noise level: GloveFAST Aseptic offers outstanding energy efficiency performance and silent operation that are achieved combining innovative solutions such as DC blowers, low pressure drop H14 HEPA/ULPA filters, low power consumption LED light.

High Level Lighting: thanks to LED lights system, provide the highest lighting level (> 1000Lux ) to the work area. A dimmer is available as standard fitting to adjust light intensity.

Ergonomic Design: The 7° sloped front window provides optimum visibility of all objects placed in the workspace. The front laminated window 4+4 mm can be also opened and cleaned completely thanks to gas springs installed on the aluminum frame.

Real Laminar AirFlow: Frontal screen 7° sloped as well as back side wall to convey in unidirectional pattern the air flow. As a consequence, the front and back panels are parallel one with the other and there is the real presence of Laminar AirFlow in the whole working area.

ECS® Eco Controling System: The new ECS® microprocessor employs the latest innovative methods of integrated management of all principal functions of ventilation and filtration - self-regulating all the main filtration and ventilation system components - compensating for declining pressure drops and restoring power balance. Combining the use of DC motor-blowers and certified low pressure-drop filters, the new ECS® controlling system optimize power consumption, reducing CO2 emissions into the environment.

Anti Bacterial Coating: Exclusive Dupont™ ALESTA® anti-bacterial “Ag+ cations-based solution”, capable to prevent microbial contamination of surfaces thereby inhibiting long term surface growth.

Interlock hinged tempered glass doors.

CPC connections for DEHS test of HEPA filters in the following points :

• working area
• transfer hatches external doors
• back of transfer hatch
• exhaust filter

Sliding AISI 316 stainless steel trays to move materials in&out from the hatches.

Gloves and sleeves 300 mm supporting ring for the sleeves with O-Ring system for gloves and textile sleeves replacement. Neoprene gloves and sleeves.

Provision for decontamination processes:

• ATV shutter (optional)
• Glass lids with gasket to close the inlet
• IN/OUT circuit for hydrogen peroxide (optional)

External structure in epoxy powder coated cold-rolled steel for excellent corrosion resistance to the attack by aggressive common chemicals. Alternatively special models with external structure made in AISI 304/316L stainless steel for superior cleanability are also available on request.

Rear wall in stainless steel AISI 304 L, designed to conform to requirements and pass the “cleanability test” according to EN12469:2000 and EU-cGMP.

Work surface in stainless steel AISI 316L consisting of one single section (divided in sections available upon request) which are easily removable for carrying out routine cleaning and/or autoclaving sterilization procedures; closed or perforated on request.

Stratified safety frontal window with gas springs.

Filtration: Low pressure drop H14 HEPA/ULPA filters with an efficiency better than 99,995 % MPPS (EN-1822).

Operation Condition: Air cleanliness in Class ISO 3 as per ISO:EN 14644-1 and Grade A EU-cGMP.

The user-friendly practical keyboard and the rear-lit LCD will continuously display all required data keeping the user constantly informed of the cabinet conditions in operation, and in particular:
- display of laminar airflow velocity and frontal air barrier velocity
- display of inside and outside temperature
- display of residual lifetime of HEPA/ULPA filters
- display of total number of hours of operation
- display of saturation level of HEPA/ULPA filters
- display of operating pressure

Audio-visual alarms provided for:
• out of range or incorrect laminar airflow velocity and frontal air barrier velocity
• incorrect position of front sash-window
• clogging of HEPA/ULPA filters
• end of life-cycle of UV lamp and saturation of activated carbon filter (if fitted)
• blockage in the exhaust duct ( if fitted )
• fan-motor malfunction
• power failure
• operating pressure out of the parameters
